DP Maintenance course
The DP Maintenance course (DPMT) in accordance with IMCA M117 -guideline provides technical training to give students the following understanding:
- Basic knowledge of Dynamic Positioning
- DP control system user interface, basic operations and system settings
- DP control system operational principles and architecture
- DP control system components and cabling
- DP control system interfacing to peripheral equipment (power plant, thrusters, sensors, position reference systems)
- Solo troubleshooting
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Establishing remote Internet access for Navis Service Team to the DP system installed on the vessel
