All courses include a lot of practical simulator training.
ADVANCED SHIPHANDLING COURSE
The shiphandling course is intended for masters, chief officers and experienced nautical officers and other persons with responsible duties in navigation work, e.g. pilots.
AIS (Automatic Identification Systems)
The course can be carried out as a one day course or combined with a four days ECDIS course. The course follows the IMO model course 1.34.
ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) 4 days, max. 12 participants.
A standard course, in the use of ARPA equipment. The course follows the IMO model course 1.07.
ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display Information System), 4 days, max. 8 participants.
The course considers different electronic chart devices, i.e. Ecs and Ecdis-systems, as well as deals with the pros and cons of electronic charts. The course follows the IMO model course 1.27 and complies with the requirements of the STCW-95.
IBS (Operational use of Integrated Bridge Systems), 4 days, max. 8 participants.
A course in operational use of integrated navigation system, with exercises in route planning (ECDIS) as well as exercises in the use of a track-pilot. The course follows the IMO model course 1.32.
ICETRAIN
ICETRAIN is a three-day training course for deck officers. ICETRAIN provides your deck crew with
multiple practical exercises and instructions on operating in very cold climate and variable ice conditions.

RADAR, 2-4 days, max. 12 participants.
Different types of RADAR courses depending on the needs of the client.
STICS (Simulator Training in Critical Situations), 2-3 days, max. 8 participants.
A simulator course for bridge personnel using integrated bridge system. The course is intended to train response and action in critical situation when using IBS systems.
